hey guys, not sure how many of you know or remember me but my names Dustin and I come out and shoot it up with you all every so often. I usually show up with zack when I come out. Well, I no longer have any time for airsoft as my work schedule doesn't allow it so i've decided to sell my M4. Not sure how many of you remember playing with me but this M4 is absolutely amazing. Completely custom built and tuned by epowersports. ALOT of money was invested into this gun and it performs as such. This gun is the ultimate sniper rifle combining a high rate of fire with incredible range and power. While it is an AEG and can shoot at a very fast rate of fire, It was built to be a sniper rifle and I have primarily used it as such. While you can choose to use full auto with it. I would advise not as there will always be some wimps out there that are gonna cry about the rope of welts you just left on them. When I had the gun built i asked for a 450 FPS gun, however this gun shoots WELL OVER 500 FPS. The exact FPS I will let you figure out for yourself ;-) Anyone who remembers playing with me can probably vouch for the overall power and accuracy of this gun. At some points I almost felt like I had an unfair advantage with it, it literally makes shooting people too easy. Below are a few pictures I have taken and a list of the upgrades that I can remember off the top of my head. I have invested well over $1200 into this gun, asking $700 or best offer. If interested, PM me or give me a call (785)554-4910 Custom M4 Sniper Rifle >500 FPS 7mm Custom gearbox built by epowersports Marine Env. Remember KSUAT guys. This weapon outshoots our field limits, so if you get it, keep in mind it will need to be downgraded.
Sorry, not trying to rain on the parade. Just wouldn't want someone to get it and then not know they would have to modify.

no way, it don't need to be downgraded, just use it on semi-auto like a real sniper rifle and obey your engagement range. This gun is dead on from 100 feet easily. Save full auto for the guys who don't wanna call their hits. Besides, nothing wrong with a little pain. Makes it more realistic.

500+ is a nogo for KSUAT games (unless the rules get changed). Semi only is supposed to be limited at 450 I believe also.

nope, the way it was told to me is 450 is the limit for full auto guns. above 450 is for semi auto only. A little common sense & this gun can be used. I have used it for over a year now in KSUAT games and here in Topeka. Obey your engagement range and use semi auto. Getting shot with this gun from 100 feet hurts less than getting shot with a 400FPS full auto gun from 60 feet.

I think you are correct about the 450 being the limit for full auto. However, 500 was the max for all weapons and it was meant for bolt action (although I think we let some semi's in). I am sure because I was an officer when the rule was written.
But i'm not now, so it is up to the current officers i guess.

This is straight from the constitution
FPS RANGE and LIMITS
All Chronoing will be done with club approved .20 gram bb’s.
0-350 – Engagement Range 20 ft
351-420fps – Engagement Range 40 ft
420 + is considered a hot weapon and must be approved by KSUAT officers.
421 + Engagement Range – 60 ft
450 fps max for full automatic weapons.
450 + fps reserved for semi automatic only, DMR – 80 ft (500 MAX FPS)

"why?!? it only hurts a little bit ;-) "
Well..because this is just a game. Any the potential for serious injury at 500FPS is just too great. IF guys would actually pay attention to engagement ranges (and they don't) then it wouldn't be such an issue. In 7 years of playing airsoft, I've only seen two people lose a tooth. Both were to some A-hole shooting a known hot gun at peoples heads within minimum distance. Both shooters also had some smart remarks about the 'sissy' rules as they were escorted off the field. There isn't any need for that type of player or velocity in this game.

I agree, they shouldn't of ever been aiming at someones head or been shooting close enough to knock out teeth. no room for players like that. But that's why you kick em off the field. Gets rid of the unsafe ones. I spent 2 years playing airsoft while I was stationed in Hawaii and they play a no FPS limit game. I had another AEG that shot harder than this and it was still one of the slower ones. However, never saw anyone get their teeth knocked out. Oh BTW. Gun sold to a FRAT guy so all you KSUATers can stop worrying. But remember, if you ever see it pointing at you, DON'T SMILE!

heh, i've had it pointed at me before. Guess we will need to chrono if we ever play with frat though. heh. ya, the guy said hes gonna put that new system gearbox in it that uses mosfet to create a reliable 3 shot burst. I already told him he better change the look of it or downgrade if he ever plays KSUAT cuz they already know about it. The gun chronos consistent 390-410 FPS with .40's. I have never chroned it with a .20 but im pretty sure it would be in the 500's. Maybe someone here knows how to do the math.
