Interesting. I could be game for this if we don't have MREs. The steak seems very over priced.

I think that if I cant get enough MREs together I will be just buying a bunch of Mc Donalds and other fast food and just stocking it and then eating it when I am there. OR we can do what we had discussed before and bring some meat and BBQ this stuff at night before the game. Plus this is good eating. But hey do what you guys want.
By the way are we still bringing that coleman grill that we were planning on ?
Is everyone down for BBQ? Later DOc

I like the idea of having a grill if not MREs.
Also, what's our camping arrangement? Someone mentioned having one tent for gear and one big one for us.

I have the Huge tent. I will bring it. Who has the grill? I know we can eat cheaper than what is offered here, I dont really need the 'good eats'. Just wanted to see what you guys thought. I am ALL FOR grilling hotdogs and stuff for ourselfs. That is if we have the grille. If someone has it, please speak up. Werd.

I think elson had the coleman gas grill. I can have you guys come over sometime this week to check out the commissary for cheap meat. We can stow this stuff in a cooler and go from there. Plus we can bring a couple bags of chips and so on. Whatever we want. Plus , I dont see where they said no alcohol in the camping area. Please show me or I am bringing a bottle for me. Later DOc

Doc,
On the WARNORD that greg forwarded to everyone. Page 4 #10 says, "10. No alcohol or illegal substances are allowed on the site, period. This is a US Army property."
Someone needs to check with John and see if he really has that grill. I think there was something wrong with this plan. Can't remember what but we need to check with him.

I have 2 grills, 1 coal/fire, and 1 coal/propane. I have 2 tents - 1 backpacking tent, and 1 4-man that would hold ALL of our gear.

Right on, just making sure. I PMed clink and he told me the same thing.
Greg , I guess we will have to go with your grill then. I know clink told me anythign above ground is OK , so we would need to choose which one would be best.
It is gettign to that point where we need to start arranging gear into lists. I know I talk alot baout stupid stuff on here but this will save us some time when packing. We need to plan which stuff goes in which vehicle. Not just which catergory but the actual items. I will be packing my bag in the next couple days.
Greg, you and I still need to get to walmart or somwhere and get an over shirt for each of us. We need to get this accomplished ASAP. If you want go on your own but I am down for linking up.
Did everyone find the black hats that we planned on using for our team? I will check tommorrow to see if they are at the ogden shop.
I know this is all last minute but we have kinda done this whole Irene thing on a last minute scheme the time. So we should be able to make all this work with no issues. Heck we are all expireanced operators here. Lets keep our heads cool and talk a little more about our plan over the next week till we leave. Later guys DOc

Yes , we are grilling. Greg and I will pick up some chicken and some hamburger on thursday. If you guys want to pick up everything else like chips and dip and soda (ie mountain dew , that is what I like at least) we cna split the cost around like that. I also want to get a cooler full of bottled water and some G2 gatorade. The G2 has less sugar and will help keep you hydrated better than regular gatorade. Later DOc
