Lets get a working itinerary going so everyone can get squared away in time and we're all on the same page...
It would be good to get a RGR from all IRENE operatives just so we all know who's read this and is active here.
Fort Knox is roughly 10.5h away, so lets plan on 13.5h for food/gas/unforseen circumstances. Event date: Sept 11-13, 2009 at Zussmann Urban Combat Training Site, Fort Knox, KY
09SEPT: Pre-depart gear check (INDIVIDUAL)
10SEPT 17:00h : Meet at RDZVS in Manhattan Pre-depart gear check (TEAM) Dinner (TEAM)
19:00h : Depart for Ft. Knox, KY DETAILS: Caravan order: VICTOR1: Greg/Doc - Light Gear - Navigation and forward 5-0 Reconnaisance VICTOR2: Tank/ - Heavy Gear - Rear-guard, fuel/systems check
11SEPT 0830h : Arrive at Ft. Knox, KY. Check-in Unload Gear/build basecamp RDZVS with other known Operatives
1300h : Site opens for AO RECON
Events following AO RECON are time and Individual Situation based events until 13SEPT departure. Schedule of a fluid nature until 13SEPT departure, wherein we will follow the same Caravan details to return to Manhattan.
Modify as needed.

Don't forget to get all convoy victors checked out before we leave. We're going to need to roll out ASAP after the game, so we can get back in time.

I think I said this before but... I will be bringing a GPS for Tank's vehicle. Not sure if we need it but we will have it just in case.
I also have 2 extra radios (not part of my gear loadout so we don't have to worry about running batts down) that we can use between cars.
Also bringing an inverter so we can get 120volts out of the cars if we need to charge/run anything while the cars are on the move. IMPORTANT: Do not use this as an excuse to not charge (or forget to charge) your weapon batts or radios.

Hey guys. On the 10th (Depart day) are you all wearing your BDU pants for the trip down? Only thinking that it would be that much less time changing. I guess the game is only played on the 12th and 13th right? So Perhaps we don't need to have our uniforms ready. What do you guys think?

I would say wear whatever you're going to be most comfortable with for the long car ride.
