If there is one thing that you should know about KCAA, if you havn't been there before, is to be prepared for hills. Man there sure are a lot of them. My final kill count was 19. 4 with 1 mag! Start with the cons: -Taliban had no medic capability. Would have been helpful. -NATO forces were all confused about their medic rules (some of them thought they could be medics as many times as they wanted). Ex: john and nick saw me shoot a guy 3 separate times before he went back to spawn. -Some Taliban guys just disregarded the uniform suggestions and wore their full high speed green loadouts. -Some Taliban forces thought it would be ok to wear a Tan (NATO) jacket and then wondered why they were taking friendly fire. Pros: -Good turnout -Lots of trigger time All in all it was a good time. Ran into some guys from KCAC that knew of KSUAT. KSUAT was first tasked with escorting our team bomber "Shazzam Boomie" but was re-tasked to provide support around the Taliban poppy fields. One of our objectives was to take out the NATO forces satellite dish. I lead a covert mission to take it from its severe right flank with Brandon and John and one other guy. Somehow we got separated during the half hour crawl through the tall grass to get into position. NATO forces had NO IDEA we were their, I was close enough to listen to their conversations. For some other unfortunate reason our Comms weren't working between our group. As I was leading the charge I waited for the best moment and popped up shooting at the people guarding the dish yelling "KSUAT GO GO GO GO". I took 5 enemies before taking a round to the head. Just then Brandon popped up and did some shooting. After he was killed John did the same. Not sure how many enemies they downed. Moral of the story was that we had complete surprise and an amazing 4 pronged attack. The only problem was we didn't all attack at the same time. This allowed the NATO forces to concentrate their fire on the single person that was attacking each time. Even with the element of surprise we just couldn't shoot fast enough alone. Had we been synchronized though....it would have been fabulous. We had one guy with a suicide vest (2 claymores on the front of a vest) which made 2 successful suicide runs. Was pretty humorous. At the end I ran with 2 other KCAC guys which was nice to be with some proactive players who were not apprehensive about 'getting after it.' I believe we completed all of our bombing missions and knocked down the NATO Sat Comm dish. But I believe that NATO finished all their objectives as well. All in all KSUAT represented well and took a lot of NATO forces down.
