The only thing I'd change about the training today is that we aren't gonna be using our rifles inside buildings. We'll need to have slings to put our primary weapon on and draw our pistols when we go inside for safety reasons. That's why I was doing the "dual wield" thing with the Kimber and M14 for a little while today. But it's nice to have this advantage over a lot of other players! Thanks Doc and Greg for taking the time to do this.

I'd like to get some trigger time with you guys before Flatline... I know that next weekend is probably the last chance for that. You guys have something going at Carr Field next weekend right (according to the calender)? What time do you meet up and where is that at? I'd like to try to come out....

Most of the time it's twelve noon, and run the field about four to seven hours. I know others will tell you the time that they will meet for next sunday.

Wow, I forgot to post an AAR, I'm really sorry, so here's mine.
The scenario was a pretty basic arm/disarm, with a VIP twist, you had to capture Greg (or have him on your team) and take the DVD he had to arm the bombs (two ammo cans on opposite ends of the field). They had a 10 min arming time, and you would get points based on how many bombs you armed and disarmed, with the team with the most points at the end being the winner. D'oh!
My team (Greg, Doc, Me, Rich) immediately split up, with Doc and Greg moving up the left side (when facing back towards Taco from the gate at the end of the road that leads past it) and Rich and I moving up the right side. Their objective was to arm the bomb, while me and Rich would draw attention from the enemy and support them if possible. Right away we spotted contacts moving up from the road towards us, and at the critical moment when I had a shot on Wayne, my M4 wouldn't feed and I was hit. Rich lasted longer, and then we walked back to respawn. We set up an ambush for them near our bomb site, and I ended up safety killing Benjamin before Caleb safety killed me. They moved towards the left side, and so Rich and I went that way after respawning as well. We pushed forward all the way to the pallet shack and then moved back to our bomb because we concluded that Greg and Doc had been hit, since we had heard a long firefight, then nothing. Greg and Doc came down the road shortly afterward, confirmed our suspicions, and then we set up an ambush at our bomb. Greg and Doc spearheaded our ambush, and they went down after taking out Caleb because the M4 he was using was having issues. Rich popped up and put fire down, but he was shot by Benjamin, who was within two feet of me on the other side of the stone wall. He walked past me, and so I called safety kill and was able to shoot Nick who was arming the bomb before Wayne shot me. This ended the game because my team was dead and there was still two guys alive on the other team, Wayne and Josh (if Caleb hadn't been mediced already, not sure) After this Doc had two glass houses set up for training, and we trained moving from building to building, and from the forest to the buildings, along with stacks and room clearing. In conclusion, I believe the chosen AO was a little large for the numbers we had out, there was a lot of walking around with no contact, and not a lot of trigger time, although I ended the day with two safety kills and one kill, so I'm not complaining. ;D
