The KCAC forums require an administrative approval for activation and I've been waiting weeks without any sort of contact regarding activation.

Cool, thanks. I wonder why they link they provided earlier went to a different site...that was a little frustrating.
In any case, I think I'll be a walk-on if I come. There's a couple factors that are yet to determine my attendance yet.

Nick you need to check out everything. They are tring to make this event different then the others. They are saving what is going to happen the day of play. So you will find your twist. Since I can't play I wanted to see if I could help out, I just might run a video with one hand. But the kcac and fort riley guys are working hard for this event.

Allright guys, two things. One, they are looking for someone to lead the entire Serbian team, that's not my thing, but if anyone else is interested, let me know. Second, we need to plan some logistics for this. Since Ft. Riley is so close, I'm thinking we roll out the day of, in time to get there before registration and everything, so we're not in a rush. That being said, there's no need to be a full hour early. Here's the schedule I found on the Op Phoenix Forums: I also recommend checking the forums out for info, here's the link: operationphoenix.proboards.com/index.cgi---------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Maps will be distributed the day of the event. There are no current overviews of the site because its brand new site, Check in will begin @ 0800 and game will start 1000 hrs,Game off@ 1900 hrs on SAT and will resume 0900 Sun till 1300 The waivers will be available @ check in. I will see if I can get one up this weekend - Ronin --------------------------------------------------------------------------------- There will be an officers meeting Friday evening, we can also discuss elements of Phoenix, although any questions should be asked and answered before then. My thoughts were, rendezvous at Artillery Hill off of I-70 at 0700, roll out no later then 0715, that way we arrive on site with time to spare. We won't be going through base, that way we have minimal dealings with MPs. Shane

It hurts me to tell you guys but I will be withdrawing from this event entirely. Balancing family time and other work I have to do is hard enough without factoring in a day of airsofting. With Brooke working a lot lately and me dealing with school, work and ROTC, I really have not given her the time she deserves. I wish you guys the best at this event and maybe as things get more routine I will be able to make more events.

i acctually might not be able to go anymore either. I may have my first chemestry test one the monday following the event. If I do, im going to have to sacrifice my attendance to this event in order to accomplish my primary purpose for being here, and that is my education.

If I can attend, it will only be for Saturday. Also, I ordered a pistol, but it won't be here until Monday. Does anyone have a pistol I could borrow?
Finally, I've mentioned the event to a couple friends from the Czech Republic who are studying at K-State. Would anyone be willing to loan out full sets of gear to them should they decide to attend? I could conceivably see anywhere from 1-5 of them wanting to attend.
Thanks

Allright, looks like we're playing at victory village now, so for those who have attended previous events at that location, we get to play there again.

Nick, I have a pistol you can borrow. It's my gas blowback Socom Gear M9, so it is a very good one. I have two mags for it, and propane, so you should be good to go. It also uses .25's (that's what the hopup is set for) so it has some range as well.
