Hey guys, how are we going there? Are we going to car pool or is everyone going to drive themselves? Also, are we going to camp there or come back to manhattan? The game ends at 7pm on sat., so I didn't know if we just wanted to come back and go back sun. morning before the game starts.

Some Czech friends may be interested. Are there any rules against foreigners from entering a Ft. Riley MOUT site? Someone said there might be.
Aw shoot, I meant to post this under the "Op Phoenix" page. Sorry.

Zyyth, there's some of us who will be camping, but you bring up a good question... Joey and I are willing tontake 2 others who want to camp out. My tent can only hold 1 more person with their gear, so I can take 2 people, but someone else needs to bring a tent. What time does this thing start on saturday and end on Sunday?

I should have a military sleeping bag coming, so I'll be able to sleep outside, as long as I can keep gear in someone's vehicle, or I may share a tent with my dad. Or I may just drive myself. Depends on who all is driving. Would it be a good idea for everyone to post up whether they are driving or need a ride etc.?

I wasn't going to camp, it's close enough to here that I'd rather sleep in my own bed and grab a shower before going back the next day.
One of the admins posted this schedule: -------------------------------------------------------------------------- Maps will be distributed the day of the event. There are no current overviews of the site because its brand new site, Check in will begin @ 0800 and game will start 1000 hrs,Game off@ 1900 hrs on SAT and will resume 0900 Sun till 1300 The waivers will be available @ check in. I will see if I can get one up this weekend ------------------------------------------------------------------------
As to how we're getting there, I already posted up about rendezvousing at Artillery Hill at 0700, and rolling out at 0715. Carpooling is up to you guys, I was going to drive myself so I could go back to my apartment. We can always leave vehicles at artillery hill if not everyone wants to drive, then we can drop whoever off when we come back.

I'm cool on taking others... If people don't wanna go back the next day or can't, that's fine... Other people going back can take those who rode out but won't be camping.

Where is artillary hill? Also, I'm not sure if I'm gonna camp or come back. It depends on how much homework I have left.

Artillery hill is just outside of Junction City, off of I-70. It's official name is Freedom Park, but we knew it as artillery hill. Here's a picture of the map to the place. Hope this helps. Shane

Okay, so I'll take I-70 south out of manhattan right?

Well, more west, but yes. Personally, I would take Ft. Riley to Ogden then to 70 (see a map, it's pretty obvious) rather than taking K-177 to 70. It's only a couple miles (if that) from that intersection.
