i'm as noobie as you are dude, but i think i wish i'd bought this gun (below) rather than the m4 and bolt action i did (yea i bought 2 guns, i'm an idiot) shop.ehobbyasia.com/gandp-m14-dmr-socom-gun-metal.htmlpersonally i think the m14 looks cooler, and from what i've heard G&P is better than JG (my m4 is jg, so we'll see how that works out when i actually try it out this weekend) edit:well crap, turns out the gun metal, sand, and olive drab ones have all gone out of stock, so all they have left are red and blue....course you could just repaint it yourself

Both guns are under dmr. Mags are going to be costly, for the two links above. The jg t3 joe has one, which he needs to get back. Caleb(cutlassload) run the m14 and he like it., Nick has on also I thought he was trying to sell. You can do a ton of upgrades on them to make them wicked out on the field. Haaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa. You will understand when you run across my 25's. Main thing is just to have fun out on the field. See you out there.

I've got the JG G3 SG1. I got it from airsplat ( www.airsplat.com/Items/ERM-JG-T3-K1-G3.htm ). They still have them for $130. Comes with a battery and charger. As for the gun itself, I love it. It is an accurate and came shooting 380 fps. Magazines aren't overly expensive, I got a set of 5 130 round midcaps for $45. One the thing to remember, however, is that it is a plastic gun. It creeks and pops. For me that isn't a problem since I'm a big dude. If your looking for something that is not a 14 that is a solid battle rifle/ long range rifle, it's worth it.
