So I have been having a long and sorted idea of "improving" my CA M-4. I rewired the mechbox to the rear, slapped on the crane stock, decided to put a mosfit in, took the mosfit out now. Here is the issue...... I got humpty dumpty back together again but when I plug it in, it starts spinning the motor without the trigger engaged. Before It would only shoot in auto even when semi selected. So what am I doing wrong, please use little words or pictures (links) to help, I dont know all the technical names to the guts. Thanks,
Dan

The trigger pushes a tiny assembly forward into what looks like 2 metal prongs. This completes the circuit and allows your gun to fire.check around the trigger assembly and for wires to be touching the frame. There are no "grounds" for the wires to jump to per se but if they are too close together, since there is no ground, arcing can happen causing your gun to fire unwantedly. Most likely, the electrical carriage for the trigger assembly is stuck into the two prongs. Pull that back to where its supposed to be and you should be good to go my friend. I've seen this plenty of times before.
