Testing the waters here.
Thinking about selling both of my M4 variants. Both would be good starter guns for some our new guys, or backups for anyone else.
One is a JG with a few external upgrades including Magpul PTS stock, M4S1 handguard that has a little wobble, a big ol' comfy vertical foregrip I bought off Wayne, a flip up front sight and a black metal flash hider. I'll include 2 300 round high caps that are current taped together Black Ops "fast mag" style. I've been running it on an 11.1v LIPO in a PEQ box (I'll throw the battery/PEQ in for an extra $30...only that high because I can use the battery on my XCR), and the only problem I've run into so far has been blowing the fuse a couple times (fuse box is in the front handguard and can be a little annoying to get to, but fixable at the field should it ever blow again). I took the gearbox apart about...10 month ago or so, to shim and regrease, otherwise it's still in original condition. I'm thinking $120 for this gun is fair. It's the 2nd gun from the right in the picture.
The other is a little better quality in my opinion. It's a G&G Combat Machine M4 with a M16 length front end. Currently it has a Magpul AFG1 on it (the one that is on the XCR in the picture) and "flocked" crane stock (a word on the crane stock, the buffer tube is slightly smaller than the stock so it's jury-rigged with electrical tape for a tight fit, as a consequence the stock does not adjust all the way in, but is still solid), and I'll throw a red dot sight in if you want it (I think it's an NC Star brand, but I'll check when I get home. I don't currently have the mags for this gun, as I'm awaiting replacements for the one my buddy lost at Lynn's place two weekends ago. When they get here I'll throw them in as well. It'll be two 360 round "Flash Mag" type high caps (figured it'd be interesting to see how well that type of mag works). Internally, the gun is stock and has never been opened to my knowledge. Worked beautifully when I played with it two weekends ago. This gun I won't take less than $200 for because it's my primary personal backup at the moment. It's the far right gun in the picture
